Inadequate

I went home teaching. I felt inadequate; they said that I’ve been great.

Don’t let guilt about not being the best curtail efforts to be better.

Indeed! Perfectionism can be crippling if it leads to self-depreciating thoughts, doubt, despair, and unproductive guilt, as it so often does.

We can always be better. We will never be the "best" because that's just life. We should always try to be better, and aim for the best we can be... and hopefully in the process of becoming better we will find ourselves happier, too!

Love your blog, Scott.
