And he arose, and rebuked the wind,
and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them,
Why are ye so fearful?
The Lord might have admired their faith if they too had fallen asleep, content to let the waves rock them as a cradle. “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14: 27)
